Regulating FinTech-Based Peer-to-Peer Lending: A New Approach to SME Financing

This thesis examined fintech-based peer-to-peer lending as an alternative financing mechanism for small and medium-sized enterprises. It considered the regulatory challenges created by digital lending models and explored how legal frameworks can support innovation while managing financial, consumer protection, and systemic risk.

The work reflects my broader interest in the relationship between financial innovation, regulatory design, access to finance, and risk-based governance.
